Our worship covers a very broad spectrum of music, liturgy and style ranging from Eucharists to lay led services and our weekly informal family worship “Church on the Mat”. We are now looking at expanding this to include a Café Church style service. Lay involvement and leadership have been encouraged and now forms an integral aspect of our Sunday Worship. We hold a Sonrise service on the quay Easter Sunday and are involved with the Sea Sunday service at the Lifeboat station, the blessing of the ferries and many other village events.

Our church was built in 1838, seats up to 300 in traditional pews, and has a tower with a full peal of bells, and Lifeboat sirens have been installed recently. It is in the centre of the village overlooking the river and the main slipway and quayside car park. In 1996-1998 we spent over £350,000 on re-furbishing the roof, windows and building. We built a toilet, re-ordered the vestry and repaired the stained glass. We have a good pipe organ, keyboard, a keen and talented organist and active choir.
